I just picked up the 2015 New Jersey "Shellfish Growing Water Classification Charts" and it looks like Barnegat Bay is a real option for clamming. Almost all of it is listed as "Approved". Looks clean.

I've waded in and used a clam rake in various DE locations for years, but it looks like Barnegat Bay would be good for scuba with an innertube, bucket, and dive flag.

Anyone know of parking and entry sites???
