Last weekend I watched too many clips of me doing things wrong taken by the instructors. So what I'm looking for is a mini-tripod that is sufficiently negatively buoyant so I can park the camera on the bottom of the pool, do a skill and see if I did it both correctly and without much extraneous movement. I have no idea how floaty/stable any of the various tripods/gripsters I see on amazon would be on the pool bottom. Anyone have a suggestion as what would work?

Thanks
Kevin

When u buy the gopro... It is mounted on a tray in the package. Use that.

I use the Mako rig with the camera mounted on the top rail anytime I need a sturdy base for shooting.

How about this?
