GoPro First purchase Noobie advice

If you choose a pole... Mount the gopro upside down with a small extension so it is hanging beneath the pole. It is easier to keep stable than when it is standing above the pole. Just use the Cineform to flip the video on your computer.

lol, yea I just find it easier to check the "flip video" box in Cineform than navigating the menu on the gopro... Or with wet fingers on my iphone. If you forget the video is flipped in camera (and try to record upright) you'll have to reflip it on post anyway. Just my preference though!

no, it comes with an adaptor, so good for Hero3 and Hero3+.
