Backscatter Flip3.1 Combo package or the Mako GoPro 3 pack filters?

Flip3.1 seems nice to have - Mako seems more durable - any experience with either? Do you need a Deep Filter?

Go with the flip. You'll want to flip in/out underwater and when on surface. Filter color varies depending on your water. Deep filter matter little, from what I've read.

+1 on the flip. With the 55mm adapter, you can do macro in shallow water as well as use UV or polarized filters above water. I've used all three filters and once you get below 65 feet, it's hard to regain true color without lights.

+1 on the flip. It is simple to operate. You can take down 2 filters without being afraid to drop them in the switch and even get nice video with filter AND lights (google Joel Penner videos)
