I love going back and reading the issues of Advanced Diver Magazine. A lot of good articles, pictures, and history. Especially if you're a tech/cave diver.

This page is a great reminder of names and faces of those who pushed the boundaries of civilian diving. It reminded me of many people who have led advanced diving that I haven't thought about in years.

I would add both www.windy.com and www.Surfline.com to the above list, neither strictly diving-related sites -- and use their free versions for local marine weather and tides, often with links to area live-cams, useful for bloodless shore entries and exits.

Good for surfing = eh, contraindicated for diving . . .
