A friend has asked me to recommend a decent LDS/Instructor in the DC area to get certified. Any recommendations?

If you want a dive shop right in DC try Blue Planet.
I moved this thread to Mid-Atlantic States in hopes you'll get more answers.
By the way, I think there are 18 Dive Shops in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Plus one guy who runs a certification and equipment business from his garage using Craigslist.
You'll get more than 18 different opinions.
