My kids love this one. For some reason this year, shrimp is very cheap so we have this often...

Shell shrimp.

Make marinade of:

1/3 cup chili sauce
4 cloves minced garlic
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup tequila
1 t salt
1/4 t cayenne (optional)

You only need to marinate the shrimp for 1 hour or so. Keep as much marinade on the shrimp as you can when you grill (use skewers).

so, like, you feed your kids tequila??

can we pretend i'm your kid?

They sleep better this way (JUST kidding). As I'm sure you know, all the tequila cooks off, just like when you add wine to sauce.

I feed friends and neighbors tequila too, so you wouldn't have to undergo the burden of being my kid

Even quickest and simpliest way - BBQ rare shrimps but place them on an aluminium tray. They are very quickly ready then add a litlle bit of Pernod Ricard and flambee (I'm not sure if it spells this way - I mean put a light the alcohol) them in Pernod. And it's ready.
I learned it in Cuba - it's great!!!!!
