More good news...Horsell, last year's provider, got their knickers in a knot about losing PADI support and have dropped the premiums down even more.

PADIs recommended insurer is about $310 for Instructors ... Horsell is $258! I know I have better uses for that $50 so I'll be checking the policies out for sure.

Now, why can't fuel come down? LOL

Looking like a fun night of reading for us all comparing policies. :doh2:

Did anyone else get an email from PADI regarding the insurance today?

Basically in the realm of why the new company is better then the old one and that there may be misrepresentations in the Horsell package.

LOL yes, it's a bit of a slagging match. I don't see the misrepresentation...it was worded as a barb towards PADI, and PADI does add a fee, but Horsell was betting on people freakin about it and blowing it out of proportion. Which it looks like PADI has done ... I personally wish they would have just left it alone.

Buy ours, we're cheaper

No, buy ours, we're more expensive but lookie what you get ...

I have to say I haven't compared them yet but will most likely go with the cheaper option :)
