A buddy of my in oklahoma city is looking for a good reputable dive shop to get his O/W. Any recomendations from locals? He is down in the Moore area.
Thanks

There are 2 shops in that area that I am aware of. Let me say that I have not had any dealings with either. I just know of them.

http://www.okscuba.com/ <----- is in Norman, next to Braums on the north side of town.

http://www.aquasportsscuba.com/ <---- is in Moore in the same building as the Harley shop on the west side of I-35

Tell him to go to Bluewater Divers in south OKC. Great shop, great owner. He won't be dissapointed if he goes there!

The website is here:

Bluewater is a great shop, as is Oklahoma Scuba which is located in Norman. Both stores are very reputable and would make an outstanding choice for instruction. I know both owners and have never had a problem with them. If your buddy goes in, have him tell them that Mike from Lake Diver sent them. They will know who I am.

WOW! I've seen your shirts on Ebay. Never knew they from an Okie. I really thought about one of your shirts while diving last Saturday at Tenkiller. I swam up to what I thought was another sawed tree stump. I looked up at a HUGE tree reaching up towards the surface, still had its branches too. Awesome sight, wish I had my camera with me.
