Chiara:
Yes they do. They are in Manhattan. Not sure if the teach there.

When you say New York state, you're making a very wide statement.
Can you narrow it down more to where in New York you are located?
We could give you about 10 places in Manhattan alone, but if you're upstate that won't help you much.
Thanks.

Leisurepro has a shop but they don't teach classes. They only sell gear.

I took my Nitrox class with Pan Aqua Divers on 43rd Street in Manhattan. They're a great dive shop - real straight shooters. They will do Nitrox fills for you if you're certified or rent you a tank full of Nitrox if you don't own your own tank. I'm pretty sure they are also your only choice if you insist on both PADI and Manhattan. Dive shops have been dropping like flies here. There are a few other shops but they teach NAUI or SSI.

There are shops all over NY state. Where do you live?

Ireland, but am coming over to live in New York City for the summer no place definite yet so i am just trying to locate a few places to help me base myself. But thanks alot.

A good dive shop to use in New York is Long Island Scuba they are not located in manhattan but they are nearby in the suburbs they teach a 2 night Tdi nitrox course.there web site is long island scuba.com

My parents live in Manhatten so I have been to LP two times. It's on 18th street and 6th or 7th Avenue. They do not teach and they do not have a compressor. Not sure if they do service there or if they send it out. Leisure Pro is owned and operated by Orthodox Jews so they are closed on Friday around 2PM and closed all day Saturday for the Sabbath. They are open on Sunday. They are also closed on all the Jewish Holidays.
They will most liklely be closed for Passover April 14-24
