Highly recommend the Pinnacle Merino-Barracuda Boot 7mm boot. VERY warm! I dive in ACTUAL cold waters 45F and below..

Have you considered a drysuit? They come with nice boots or socks attached to them. Much much warmer.
XS Scuba sells boots, which is what I have for when I wear a wetsuit warm water diving. I prefer boots without a zipper for added warmth and comfort. It really is something you need to try on, or purchase a couple pair from Leisure Pro and return the ones that do not fit.

The Pinnacle Merino lined boots come in a size range from 4 to 14. I just ordered my normal shoe size and voila! it worked for me 
My initial reaction when I tried them on was ... they feel a wee bit tight.... once I got them on in the water... they felt great. I would think if you ordered from a reputable dealer, they'd exchange for size if needed. Give your 'normal shoe size' a try. Good luck!
Another unforeseen bonus is these boots fit into the foot pockets of xl jetfins better than my previous boots.

I LOVE my Henderson 7mm booties, but for some reason, the glue Henderson uses isn't very strong. The seams on both pairs of my InstaDry booties are giving way. I noticed the same thing on different buddies' Henderson gear (Hyperstretch booties in both cases, especially in places where three seams meet). It's too bad, because they're otherwise awesome products. One friend who switched from the Hyperstretch to another manufacturer chose Excel, and is pretty chuffed with them. size 9. and because the merino-lined boots are so good, I've had my LDS order me a pair of the merino-lined attack gloves and the merino-lined hood... can't wait!
now I must go plunge into the depths of Lake Superior where the water is actually cold..not that wussy 'Monterey cold' LOL
