Just got back from diving Largo this weekend. The water was rough and vis was no where what it normally is but still had a great time. A lot of the people got sea sick, including my brand new dive buddy who "never gets sea sick" so I would highly suggest taking some form of sea sick medication. I have had the best luck using Bonine (also Dramine II, not to be confused with the original Dramine). I take one the night before and another the next morning. Taking anything the morning of the dive is next to useless, not enough time for the med to get started doing it's job. I don't like taking the stuff but it sure beats messing up an otherwise great trip. He had a much better time the next day but I bet he will remember his first "real" dive, hehehe. If you are not diving with local DM or an experienced diver, be VERY aware of where you are, you can get a long way away from your boat very quickly if you are not careful. Take PLENTY to drink, plain old water is best, followed by sports drinks. You WILL get dehydrated so drink plenty.

I saw the Quiescence shop but did not stop in, looked like a respectable place though.
