Being an immigrant here in these times is a strange status, things feel uncertain and my friend's immigration lawyer advised her not to leave the country. I don't know if you heard but Trump has been talking about canceling visas (without notice) in order to give more jobs to the American people.

If you on an employment based Visa you're a non-immigrant. If you have a valid Visa and are still in status why would you have trouble unless you travel to one of the countries that are now restricted? The limiting of Visas to ensure Americans get first opportunity is controversial? Every country with a functioning immigration system does the same thing. All the proclamations limiting travel are easily available. Read them for yourself and make a decision based on fact not fear.

You could also call your local CBP port of entry with your info to see if you'd be excluded under one of the proclamations.
