Going to Adelaide in 2 weeks

So, I'm taking a surprise work trip to Adelaide for most of August and I would really hate to come back without diving. My schedule will be rather tight but I should be able to get a couple of 4 hour segments of free time in town (most of the three weeks there will be spent doing fieldwork in the interior). Anyway, does anyone have any advice regarding where I can get wet quick, close and at an interesting spot?

Without a doubt the best dive in Adelaide is the Ex HMAS Hobart

You obviously won't have time to do the trip of a lifetime and dive the Neptune Islands or Dangerous Reef with him (or his son Andrew), but while you're in Adelaide be sure to visit Rodney Fox's shark museum. http://www.rodneyfox.com.au/
