Umm, agreed.
Edited post is much better. Welcome back to the underwater world.
Welcome to Texas Swamp Divers where you can get your fill of diving anywhere in the great state of Texas. Just ask and show up and you too can dive with the rest.Ok the original post was somewhat lengthy, or rather way too long if you prefer lol. Note the time of the post. I was actually battling a mild case of insomnia and I just sat down and started writing down my thoughts in MS Word: Ramblings of a madman. Then I got the silly notion to post this as an intro to the forum. Well, it didnt seem very long in Word, not even a page, but it is actually extremely long for a forum post so Im sure many opened it and read a couple of lines and said forget this. I dont blame you, Ive done that myself. So let me try again:
Hi, I am an old/new diver. I was originally certified in 1986 as a junior open water diver and did not get to dive beyond my open water dives! Ive planned to come back for at least 10 years now and finally have the means to do it this year and bring some new buddies with me: My wife and a few of our kids who are old enough.
I hope to see some of you out and about!
God Bless.

Do you have good local dive shop dialed into your area?

I didn't get the opportunity to experience the rambling, so I'll just say Welcome! If you find low viz diving intriguing, there are quite a few dive sites within a few hours drive.
