All I wanna know is.. now that I've saluted the flag and proudly recited the anthem, when do my official GLWC HID lights and E8-130s arrive?

Diverbrian will be carefully packing his Mustang in April to deliver scuba accessories to all the good little diver girls and boys. Remeber you must be able to recite this anthem at Meet & Greet III without cheating to claim your item. You may want to pre-order on the lights though so he can accomidate 10 watt, 18 watt or 21 watt fixed or focusable heads though.

How could I forget to tell you? Put on your ruby jet fins and click your heels together three time while saying "There is no place with gnomes, there is no place with gnomes."

I propose the following adjustment to Mitten Diver's GLWC Pledge:
I pledge allegiance to the Flag
of the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew
and to the Pursuit for which it stands,
one nation underwater, in a drysuit,
with HID lights and steel tanks for all.

In keeping closer to the overall cadence of the Pledge of Allegience:
http://www.flagday.org/Pages/StoryofPledge.html:
“I pledge allegiance to the Flag
of the United States of America
and to the Republic for which it stands,
one nation under God, indivisible,
with liberty and justice for all.”

And as for a secret "handshake", wouldn't an underwater hand signal of some sort be better? (Not that I can think of one right now, but I'll be back if I do!)

See you April!

-Rob

Hmmmmm... I don't know about that pledge/anthem change, Rob. Sounds to me like you're cheating me out of a free drysuit and down grading my E8-130s to any old steel tanks. :eyebrow:

Well, I didn't want my E8-119s to be left out on some technicallity. I don't have a drysuit (and won't be buying one in the near future, but if it were *free* that'd be different). Besides, what would be so bad about some old LP72s?

joedelt,

I'm pretty sure we can arrange a paddling for you if that will make you happy.

joedelt:
do people get paddled if they forget the anthem and handshake:eyebrow:
Instead of a PADDLIN, I propose that person shall be required to provide the natives with a refreshing frosty beverage of thier choice.
