I have a pair of Neosport polyolefin pants that I like for warm water diving, and I'd like to add a pocket to them. I have a Golem Gear pocket that I'd like to use, and a can of Mcnett neoprene contact adhesive that I'm thinking about using to attach it. I've glued pockets on neoprene wetsuits before, but haven't tried to glue anything on polyolefin. Anyone have any experience with this?

polyolefin=polyethylene or polypropylene. Neither of which are particularly strong, both of which are very stretchy, especially since that pair of pants is likely knit, and neither of which are particularly fond of having anything glued to them. Neoprene cement definitely won't hold, but you are at a very high risk of ripping them when using said pocket. If you want a pocket, you are better off using one of the dive rite thigh pockets that straps on, or the neoprene pocket shorts
