So divers from Collins Bay ventured out to the Frontenac today as the winds had subsided and had changed direction. Harold and the Glue club have been trying to move the mooring built out of Railcar wheels that was dropped over 2 years ago to it’s proper location most of the season, but other priorities like the China took over. So it had to wait till everything came together.

So the first dive took a little longer then expected almost 40 mins in low vis. Vinnie and Annie placed the supplies and such in a specified location while Harold and Tom ran a spool to wheels. Then a large line from the wreck to the very large lift bag and up she went.

Unfortunately the liftbag line was about 20 feet longer then expected so Annie and Vinnie had to redo the liftbags line and sent it back to the surface. Then the wind did some work for us and actually placed the mooring where they wanted it in the first place so Vinnie deflated the bag while Annie watched over Harold and Tom. Tom ran the tag line and picked up the spool while Harold picked up the towline and we even treated ourselves for a quick trip.

The line was not moved from it’s present location as it needs to be replaced so hopefully in the next week or so the line will be replaced.

For those planning trips to the wreck, enjoy the dive. Pictured below is Capt Harold of the Seaducer doing the finishing touches
