Watch that poofie stuff in Upper Orange :rofl3:
It will be interesting to see how the viz is in there.
Since Challenge has blue water in it now , it shouldn't be too bad.
BUT since OG took (el sucko'ed) in water from Cisteen , well , er , uh ... nevermind

Have Fun :D

Silt is so scared of me that it just stays on the ground. I can walk on it and it won't get stirred up.

PS this IS the internet. :crafty:

Memorial weekend is the one weekend I avoid Ginnie. It is just too crowded for my taste. More of a top side issue than in the cave.

At times yes, there are classes of OW in the eye/run, but that never caused an issue. Hanging deco in the eye can be fun laying down to watch them or hovering just above their heads......:blinking:

I'd rather watch LiteHedded take one to the head, at least InkDiver brings food and stuff. Litehedded just hustles me for a ride to Ginnie every weekend.

***ing Clown.

looks like you weaseled out of driving me this weekend. that's not very dir of you
don't do a solo drive!

Amen !!! Made the mistake of going last Memorial Day weekend and it was awful. :shakehead: Won't be going that again.

Ginnie is fun and safe. A little further South is the Blue Grotto. Now, I've heard Vortex Springs, North of Panama City, is a very nice dive.

I used to make Ginnie a regular Memorial day weekend. If you get there when they first open and get parked, you will be near the water, and you'll have the system to yourself. Between dives the scene can be quite entertaining.

exactly
the run is gorgeous!
maybe I'm still a little bitter after last weekend where instructors dropped their OW classes by the truckload into the ear and eye.
didn't mean to come off sounding that harsh!
:)

Last time I was there, I saw the same thing happen (maybe the same instructor). I talked to Rose about it afterwards and she told me OW instructors aren't supposed to be doing checkouts in the Eye. I advise anyone who sees this and has a problem with it to report it every time.

And, BTW, I don't know of any agency that allows any course dives other than cavern and wreck to be done in an overhead environment. A night AOW dive in a cavern is against standards.

Hey , I heard Peacock I is opening on Saturday morning...
Get your tickets while they are hot.
I am going to probably sneak one in there sometime this weekend.

Dat's my home cave and I miss it so.
