The Florida Conchs are holding our annual Megadive and campout at Ginnie Springs.
This is a Family event and is always alot of fun. We have a community dinner on
saturday after a full day of diving and swimming. Then we will have a Galaxy dive at night in the ballroom of Ginnie springs. This will be followed by a campfire party.

ALL SCUBABOARDERS and their friends are welcome
experince does not matter , DON'T BE SHY

Hey me and a few other people were planning on driving down to Ginnie on the 30th and camping out and doing some dives. Is your group diving on the night of the 30th in the ballroom?? Unless something changes I guess will see you there.

I had never heard of a Galaxy Dive until we were down there last week. If you're in the area you need to do one, simply amazing! Too bad we're already home or we'd join in.

Usually we do the galaxy dive on Saturday night since folks are arriving from all over the state. Since they are getting there late they dont pay to dive until Saturday but if there are enough wanting to do a Friday night galaxy dive then I'm sure we can do that or just a night dive into the ballroom.

I just noticed--Ginnie raised prices a tad. $30 a day for OW divers, $22 for full cave. $18 a night to camp.

I think paying almost $40 to sleep in the back of my truck for two nights is a bit excessive.....I wouldn't do it, but I'm diving for free with the two free dive passes I got fromthe last megadive. I don't see why people pay that much to dive at Ginnie more than once or twice. Gratned, while the state parks are cheaper they don't change or become any more interesting over time, but I'd rather see the same thing again for $10 than for $30 :)
