Hi y'all from a local near Ginny Springs. Can't tell you much about Ginny Springs - the state pirates want $12 for you to walk in the door. Wayne at Amigos Dive Center (online) is a goto guy for housing and just about anything you need to know or do in the area including housing. He has several places available from local owners - all for $25/night/person. I don't know what the campground fees are, but the houses w/ real beds, showers, etc. are worth the little extra. Most require at least 2 people. Some are more like Hostels - 6 people who don't know each other. The Amigos Dive Center is open 24/7 and is a divers' dive shop. Not fancy - just high tech, good service and good prices.
There are many restaurants in High Springs plus a couple in Fort White. The Great Outdoors in High Springs is very good as is the Fleetwood Diner - as is what looks to be a small sandwich shop just East of the Great Outdoors. In Fort White, there is the GTO restaurant plus the Goosenest. Both are good.
