Anybody having any luck getting refunds from Gilboa Quarry for the cancelled "World Record" attempt scheduled for July 2010? We paid our fees in August 2009 ... on promises of a "cash draw" for those having paid by end of August 2009. Our emails are ignored, and FB messages to Gilboa deleted. They cancelled the event, and kept our money.
DO NOT PAY GILBOA QUARRY IN ADVANCE!

GReetings ScubaScraper I have talked with management at Gilboa and Mike to apply my fees toward a 2012 season pass.
I have heard the same from a few others but have not been there as much as normal this season due to Wreck diving.
I would pursue this through your shop that you attended with or are affiliated with.

I understand that you are quite a distance away from here if the shop can not help you then PM me and I will plead your case face to face with Mike.

Thanks CamG! I'm glad to hear that there's some attempt at resolving this matter. It's been very frustrating ... especially since Whitney's no longer there. She told us earlier in the summer that we needed to wait until some personal issues were resolved, but since then, nothing. We're not necessarily looking for a cheque in the mail, but an offer of a credit towards park fees or refills would be great ...and, good customer service. Thanks for your offer to help ... I may take you up on it if I continue to get no where. Many thanks!

I was there earlier this summer and was also told that a 'store' credit would probably be the way they go but they were looking into other possibilites. But nothing would be done/started until some 'personal issues' were taken care of in October.
