I found this photo today and I wonder if it is for real. Do jellyfish get this big? If so, where can you find them?

I've seen them much bigger than that. I caught one once in a large jar and kept him together with my pet mamba named Hans. He used to be in a tank next to my giant plant, Audrey.

but hey, if there is giant squid, why not giant jellyfish? :)
 
One reason giants like that are unlikely is due to their primitive circulation. Large bodies require efficient circulatory systems to transfer oxygen and food to the rest of the body and remove wastes.
