Would it be possible in a future update to create a display option that shows the GF99 at the surface assuming an instantaneous ascent? Obviously, the minute the last deco stop clears, it is at whatever GF high is set to. But, for no-deco dives or if you want to dive using an aggressive GF but add some padding on the O2 stop, it would be really useful to see where the model has you.

A kind of indirect/inverse way of doing the above as well as padding an O2 stop profile is to change the "GF99" to a lower more conservative value, and then see how much extra O2 time in minutes the Petrel calculates for this value (you can do this realtime during the dive in Tech mode). For instance, say you initially set GF Hi to 85 and complete the O2 deco 6m/20' profile time for this setting -you can then as an option electively reset this GF to something lower like 70 for example. The Petrel will then show the additional corresponding "padded" O2 deco time to perform for this lower more conservative value of GF 70 before finally surfacing.

I realize that. Given I don't use the computer for deco information and it is more of a guide, it would be nice to be able to see the actual information in real time. Seeing what your GF99 would be on the surface as of any point is more useful for no-deco dives.
