Spanish Rocks or maybe toothin' down in Venice. Haven't decided where to go. If anyone else is planning to dive this weekend down here in the SRQ area, post up to meet. I hope to be getting wet by 10ish.

Please post a dive report, including viz (if any), water temp and dive time.

Always a report from me.

Good day @ Spanish Rocks! Crabs galore. Anyone who would have joined me would have had WOW factor. I came across an open field of ledges that had at least 20 "holes" scattered about 18" to 2 ft. apart. EVERY single hole had a crab inside! Most keepers, some holes a little too small to get my hand in, but had a BIG crab inside. One crab especially must have been permanently stuck. He was so big that as I grabbed the claw to pull 'em out, he's body wouldn't fit through the hole. I think I wasted 300 psi just trying to get him out. So with the right pressure, he released and fell back down. I don't think he'll ever get out.
Overall about 6 lbs. crab. Good eatin' tonight! :D
