Getting to Roatan from Tegucigalpa?

I'm planning a solo trip to Roatan from 3 July to 10 July (staying and diving at CTD, hopefully) and am looking for some advice on the best way to get there from Tegucigalpa (I'm in Tegu for business the prior week). Whats my best bet to getting to Roatan cheaply? Bus from Tegu to San Pedro Sula to La Ceiba (Hedman Alas), then the Galaxy Yacht to Roatan?

Thanks in advance for any help. First time traveling in Central America and I'm kinda starting to freak out about how unprepared I am.

Just check the times of the buses to coordinate with ferry times or flight times.
Looks like you got all the information. We are leaving Thursday and flying out Friday morning. Can't wait. Good luck and have fun.

You will need to be on the first bus out of Tegus and hope it arrives on time 9:30 so you can connect in San Pedro on the 10:00 bus to Ceiba. There are later busses but you would not be there in time for the ferry. If you don't make it in time the good news is you can get a hotel and leave the next day and it is still cheaper than flying but you will lose part of a day

Good information. Thanks. I guess if I miss the boat, I miss the boat. Not terribly worried about it. Will pick up the next one the next day. Just cut into my diving time a bit is all. La Ceiba looks like a fun place anyway.
