Getting my feet wet!!

OK...I am really new to the sport, but I am a converted enthusiast. I wish I would have started diving a long time ago!! I was Open Water certified in early July, Advanced Open Water last weekend, and I am going on a three day dive trip to Oman this weekend. I simply can not get enough. Of course...it is easier when you have year round diving in the Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, Indian Ocean, etc, etc. I have some buddies that dive about every weekend, so I will have something to do...alot. I have even convinced my 9 year old daughter to try Bubblemakers or SealTeam. I look forward to hearing the stories and getting any advice as my diving continues. See you all around.

Welcome. I once knew someone who dove those waters and the pictures were wonderful! One day I may get there. I had thought I would go there in 2006-2007 while I was in Iraq, but it became too much of a hassle and they canceled all our 3 day passes after the first guy went because it took 7 days to do a 3 day pass (2-4 days travel each way).

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am sure that while I am located here I will be taking advantage of year round diving activities (our lates dive had water temps averaging 88F at 28 meters and almost 93 surface. I can only imagine the cold water dives here
