I'm a Fish!
We will be heading back to Utila from Saturday April 19 through Saturday the 26th.
Our flights are booked into San Pedro Sula. On our last trip, the flights between the main land and Utila were prearranged by a member of our group.
This time, we're traveling sans the group and need to make our own arrangements to get in and out of Utila. I think that Sosa and Atlantic fly back and forth but their websites aren't very user friendly.
The good news is that we booked in and out on Saturdays. The bad news is that I suspect that will be a very busy week for travel. I'd like to get my travel arrnagements nailed down now.
Can anyone suggest the most reliable method of reserving and purchasing flights from SAP to Utila? I suspect there might be travel agent out there who folks in the states are using.
I asked the folks we will be staying with at Mango Inn for a lead but the guy they recommended failed to respond when I tried to contact him. Next.......
Thanks for any advice you can give.

Charlie Meador posts regularly on several forums, an American with a Honduran wife and a little hotel in La Ceiba. His website has links to all the airline websites and someone posted recently they'd had the best success with Islena. I'd reserve and try to actually pay for tickets for Islena, then reserve with no money on another airline as a backup. If you're looking for an agent down there to purchase tickets, Charlie might have advice if you need it. Trip report when you're home, please - happy trails! Coco Pando

Islena does not currently fly into Utila.

MC Tours books flights with the domestic airlines & can probably help get you set up. They can be reached at Gilberto@mayancaribbean.com, or 011-504-551-4393

who love you - baby?

Oh, Gawd..... now he has a SCUBABoard ID. :lotsalove:

Dive with this man anytime, anywhere. If you find him drinking Salva Vidas, assume there is an open tab.

Just so you should know. :rofl3:
