Hello New England

I'm new to the forum and interested in getting wet again. I got certified 20 years ago (18y/o) and dove religiously for years until work got in the way of play. I have been saying to myself for the last few years that I would like to get back into it and this is the year! My tanks are in need of a hydro and I'm sure my regs need a good once over by the dive shop but I will be active again this year.

About me: 38y/o male, married to a great girl and we have a 6 y/o daughter. I live in Marion, MA and work a rotating shift so I'm available more during the week than weekends. I grew up shorediving on the south shore (MA) along with the occasional boat dive and eventually all of my friends stopped diving so I was doing the solo thing for my last few years. I mostly did shore dives for bugs and the occasional kayak dive. I still have the kayak, will be willing to do shore dives but, (I'm sure this will earn me a few friends) I have a 27' Grady White that would be a great platform.

My last dive was on my honeymoon in 2006, so I'm going to have a slight learning curve to get back up to speed. I'm sure my breathing will have to be recalibrated as well, I used to get about 1hr 20min or so out of an 80 if I remember correctly.

Shoot me a PM and I will be in touch.
