I have an old Scubapro D350 and mk10 first stage. Can I sue this with the new HP tnaks? I used to dive with AL tanks pressurized to 3300, despite the yoke attachment saying "3000 psi" Seems like another 200 psi wont make that much of a difference.

Patoloco,

Absolutely, you can! I still dive with my Scubapro Mk 10's (and Balanced Adjustables, G250, and D400), which date from 1987 to ~1994. My first tanks were Sherwood Genesis 80's (PST HP tanks, 82 cu ft @ 3,500 psig), purchased in 1988. I still use these, too. I replaced the Mk 10 yoke fittings with 300 Br DIN fittings when I purchased my first Genesis 80. At one point I purchased and installed on two of my Mk 10's, the upgrade kit that turned them into Mk 10-Plus's, but I still dive the plain Mk 10.

One caution, though. I wouldn't dive the Mk 10 on over-filled HP tanks in cold water--unless you "winterize" them. (I experienced a couple of massive freeflows while doing this when diving in the Great Lakes, which is why I converted the two.)

Service your Mk 10 and D350 (or have them serviced if you can't/don't do this type of service yourself), and resume diving them.

Hope this helps.

Safe Diving,

Ronald

Oh, I thought we were talking about "old" gear... :big smilie face emo image that's not available at the moment:

I still dive a MK3, MK5, R108HP and R109. As long as the first stages are rated at 3000psi you should have no problem.
