Zendiver1: Given how late I get into LA the 24th, I may not be able to join until Saturday afternoon, but I'm looking forward to it. Also have some another friend who may join us.

Jennifer: I'm up for diving Sunday, too, even as Zendiver is flying out. Let's plan it!

We will figure out a way for you to meet us for an afternoon dive on Saturday if you like... And Sunday is fine with me, too. We will have a good idea of the beach conditions! Tentatively let's stick with Laguna Beach for a plan right now, okay? Will you be staying in Santa Monica?

Sat and Sun I can stay where ever is convenient to where we'll dive.

Jen and Sid, more than likely I will drive back up to the AV area Saturday night. What kinda of depth are we looking at with the Laguna Beach dives? I should be ok for an afternoon dive as well. Hopefully we can get in 3 dives on Saturday. My flight doesn't leave until 6:15 on Sunday.

Robert, the max would be around 60 if you dig a hole. Average would be 25 to 35 feet. If you have a 6:15 pm flight you could dive most of the day. I'm going to be at Our World Underwater, but you're welcome to use any of my tanks. I have 80's, 95's and 125's. Let me know what you want, I'll make sure I have them jammed. We have all the lead you'll need.

John, thank you very much for the hospitality as well as the dive information. With this information, maybe I will shoot for 4 dives then. :) If you don't mind, a couple of 125's would do wonderfully for 4 good long dives at those depths.

It will be a shame not to be able to meet you while I am there, but Utila will be only a couple of months away afterwards. Will you be in IL that whole week?

I'm working a rigs to reefs project out of Santa Barbara a couple of days before I leave on the 24th. I'm returning on the 26th from Chicago. I have a lot of traveling coming up. Sorry I won't be around for the dives. Too bad we didn't plan this better, we could have gone to Catalina on the work boat. Maybe next time. Let us know of anything else you'll need.

Sorry about that, Mntdiver. No planning at all around the schedule. I'm just grasping at the opportunity to dive a new environment while I'm in LA on business. I'm pleased that several of us will be able to hook up and dive, despite the lack of planning. Hope we can all get together again for other opportunities to get wet.

And, gotta admit: I'm pretty jazzed about the notion of diving while there. I know it's too early to be packing my gear, but ...

Zendiver and Sapphire: I'll send you both a private message with my email address, so we can start planning some details.

zendiver1:
2 more weeks...are we ready yet? :D

We are testing the water out for you tomorrow at the Wrinkles dive! Are you ready for all of YOUR trips yet?
