geo 4.0 discontinued

hi I'm looking to purchase a used geo 4.0 or i200c for the occasional vacation diving. I noticed the geo 4 was just recently discontinued. is that a reason to not get one? are there firmware updates for the geo 4 that I may need.

also I noticed the i200c switched from the battery removal tool to a screwed down case back. is there a reason for that? were there issues with the battery removal cover the i200 and geo 4 use?

I am using three different computers and all have been discontinued for many many yrs.
And they are all user replaceable battery.

Geo 4 is my suggestion as it has dual algorithm DSAT(liberal) and PZ+.

thank you. yes I'm between the geo 4 and i470tc. not that I'm looking for AI but I just like the look of the watch
