Genesis valves going bye-bye?

I guess I know it's true since I have heard it from two different Sherwod reps now, but I still hold out hope that it is not true.

Actually part of me would not mind (so much) if that meant Sherwood would have to make a yoke/DIN convertible.

I still prefer carrying those Genesis valves over any other valve. I have dislocaated my middle finger too often with other ones. I wish Sherwood would make a DIN/Yoke that was nice and wide like the genesis.

Just Genesis, or Sherwood too?

I am not a big fan of Genesis valves; they are instant on/off.
Sherwood valves slowly turn on and off, and are quite smooth.

from what I heard:

Sherwood's not going anywhere.

Genesis valves are going away, at the current style. They are moving plants, and it is not decided if they will make valves, and it is not deicided if they do make valves, what design they will be.
