Genesis Resource Nitrox Dive Computer

Has anyone heard of this type of system and can you give me some information? I looked it up but only kept locating the new systems. I saw one for sale and would consider it with more information from those friends I have grown to trust on this board.

IIRC the Resource is not a Nitrox computer, are you thinking of the React?

The "Resource" is the "air" version of the Genisis React Pro that I've got. I've been very happy with the React Pro, so I think you'll be happy with the Resource.

The Resource though is a "single button" computer. I have a Sherwood Logic that is a single button computer that I used before I got the React Pro. They both perform about the same on a dive, but it's nicer having a two button for setup and review of dive logs. just more user friendly and easy to use is all.

BTW... You can buy a new Resourse Pro for $198 bucks.
Not sure what the difference is in the Resource and the Resource Pro is, but I'm betting that it's just more user features, like more logged dives, 3 min saftey stop timer, date/timestamp, etc... stuff possibly like that.

The Genesis Resource Pro is NOT nitrox compatible. No PC download.

I dive with the Genesis React Pro which IS nitrox compatible. PC downloadable.

You can read about the two computers at the Genesis website.

I highly recommend the ReactPro. It's made by Pelagic (Oceanic) and based on the Veo model computers.

If you are referring to the RESOURCE (minus the pro), it is an older computer and outdated. It's not even listed on the Genesis website anymore.
