Genesis regs any good in cold water??

The GS2000 is a sealed 1st stage just like the Sherwood, only difference is the Genesis is a D.A.D (Dry Air Demand) it bleeds air on accents unlike the Sherwood that bleeds all the time, I would recommend that you change the demand lever to the PK050T, that is a Teflon coated demand leaver., other that that the Genesis is an excellent cold water reg.

How much is the kit, and is it compatible with the pk400n kit?
 
wow, I love the mythical freeze ups on a reg that has performed extremely well in cold waters for a couple of years now in Lake Superior. I guess, when a story is told it goes on and on and on till someone mentions you need to use this better reg for cold water diving.
 
nah, it just time for a service. seeing if it is worth doing the change over to the teflon leaver.
