Sounds good to me. I would love to be able to prove who the best team really is. I know who definitely wasn't this year. OU! Leave it to a Texan to figure it out.

mofosaurus:
In mathematics, a proof is a demonstration that, given certain axioms, some statement of interest is necessarily true.

In other words, anyone can make up a mathematical formula, i. e. the BCS, but it doesn't necessarily make it true, have fun playing with your glass ball

to endorse a false chapioship game would be easy, it takes integrity to stand up to the hooded mob and speak the truth

Look mommy,Mofo learnt how to use dat dictionary!

Mofo,I'll gladly give up a dollar for a giant crystal ball. In regards to your above quote....Anyone can make up a their own champion too...as you're doing. By the way, UCLA(still your team, right?), is more like 3 or 4 years from being a good team. Y'all may need to go through a few coaches like we did first....the one UCLA has must go.

Mofo,i'm not sure as to what a "homer" is......that's something said on the west coast. It MUST be how you say Champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MOFO Bosworth was a great college player. I can name a thousand great college players who never made it in the pros. Uh can you say Charles White? At least Bosworth has a National Championship ring. I don't think anybody still alive from UCLA has one of those. Oh, wait I'm wrong about thatTroy Aikman has one. Guess where he got it. Oh, yeah OU. I think he was probably the best QB UCLA has ever had.
7 National Titles, longest winning streak in college football history (43 games). How many National Titles does UCLA have in football? Overblown? Get over yourself Cali.

Homer - a fan of his home team that agrues about their superiority based solely on emotional reasons

I agree, UCLA must replace the head coach. Karl "P.C." Dorell played the Jackie Robinson Card (Robinson lettered in football, baseball, basketball, and track while at UCLA) when he was interviewed for the coaching position. While it was good A.D. Dan Guerrero wanted to hire a black coach he should have hired someone with some experience. Dorrell is a joke.

I agree Bosworth was a great college player but he did it on steroids. At the Pro level his body was as fragile as glass due to his drug abuse. I don't think anyone will forget Bo Jackson knocking Bosworth 10 yards backwards as Bo trotted into the end zone on a Monday Night football game.

I may be wrong but I think Boz played one season then was done due to injuries as result of steroid abuse

Best UCLA QB? It may have been Aikman (thanks Ok, but don't be mad he had good judgment) but you have to consider Heisman winner Gary Beban (1967) also.

UCLA split the National Championship in 1954 with Ohio State

Greatest thing ever to come out of OK? Barry Sanders! There's no hype there.

Ok U had 47 not 43 consecutive wins from 1953 to 1957 but Washington was unbeatenfor 63 games (1907-1917) Michigan 56 games (1901-1905); Cal 50 games (1920-1925); and Ok U 48 games (1953-1957)

MOFO thanks for the semantic and numerical clarification. I didn't have the record book in front of me. OU has the longest WINNING streak in college football history.

As far as Aikman goes I'm not mad at all. After he broke his ankle against Miami OU went back to the wishbone and beat Penn State in the Orange Bowl for their 6th national title. Switzer contacted Donahue and initiated the transfer. At least he got a ring.

You're right Barry Sanders was great, but don't forget Jim Thorpe.

23 team national titles they must be doing something right.

7 Football
7 Wrestling
5 Gymnastics
2 Baseball
1 Golf
1 Softball

Don't the Bruins have a legendary basketball program? How are they doing this year? There record of winning is unmatched from what I know.

One last thing "homer" sounds like the pot calling the kettle black.

I hate the trojans, USC stands for the Univ. of Spoiled Children. The reason people attend there is because they can't get into on of our UC schools.

But they did field a great team.

Not to Brag but UCLA holds 67 NCAA mens titles (too many to list)

this of course does not include the '64 football championship because NCAA does not award a title I-A football title

Jim Thorpe, I forgot he was from Ok. I consider him the greatest athlete of the 20th Century.

I remember when ESPN gave that title to Michael Jordan. What a joke! MJ was kicked out of basketball for betting on games and showed he had no skills when it came to baseball.

I seriously doubt the Bruins will ever match OU's football tradition because its too expensive. The UC schools are state schools that try to emphasize the education part. Some UC schools don't even have football progams of any kind.

The major goal of every year at UCLA is to beat USC. If UCLA is 1-12 but they beat SC, then its a succesful year. Unfortunately, that may not happen for a while.

Basketball is another story. Beating SC is expected and the NCAA title is the only goal. The only banners that hang in Pauley Pavillion are NCAA Championship banners (11), we don't bother with conference titles banners.

UCLA beat the Oregon schools last week which makes them 2-0 in conference play this year so far.

UCLA has an outside chance to make the tournament this year, we'll see.
