Just wanted to say congratulations!!! I don't agree that OU didn't deserve to be there. LSU really deserves the championship outright. I hope we get another shot next year.

Really folks, there was no way I was not going to give a yell out for my LSU Tigers. For the USC fans out there, I'm sorry your team was not given it's right to play LSU for the National Championship. Oklahoma has no right taking your team's place in New Orleans. Although it didn't matter which team went(USC or OKLA), LSU would certainly beat either one,so the point is really mute. Anyway, I just wanted to send a little love out to the OU fans...it's the least I can do. Geaux Tigers!!!!!!!

Hey you won didn't you? USC got their share of the title. I can't wait to see how well they play next year with the #1 ranking. I wonder how long they will keep it. Maybe until they play unranked Cal again or maybe the Pac 10 championship. Oh that's right they don't play a conference championship. Hmm I wonder how Oregon would have played them.

Maybe the future of the BCS holds a playoff style format for the top 4 teams...round 1 to be played mid december....then we could decide without a doubt what 2 teams should play for the title in the new year.

Anyway...what happened happened...I'd love to see LSU and USC lock horns...that would be an awesome game, but it is not to be this year.

For the those free to vote thier conscience it was USC 48, LSU 17

When USC starts playing a tougher schedule, they will get more respect. You can coulda, woulda, shoulda all day long depending on which team happens to show up and play best on any given day.

Games played against top 25 teams this year:

USC - two
OU - four
LSU - five

There will never be a BCS system created that will always be fair to every team but based on the above, LSU deserves it more than anyone IMO.

Congrats LSU & USC and hold on to Saban LSU .... i've been wanting to kick our board of control right in the privates, for a long time for letting him go! Dam good coach is Saban!

Sooner1, here's the prob with Mofo. His team,UCLA not USC,sucks(see ass-kicking by Fresno Junior High),so he needs an outlet for his frustrations. So, he attempts to jump on the USC bandwagon,but things aren't going they're way either(see final BCS standings.) Also, see where the real trophy is at...LSU. You can book it he voted for Arnie.....you know,that system wasn't working out either for the Cali's. My the way, Sooner1, I was in Muskogee,Okla the last two days.

Doesn't he or didn't he host the "NFLs greatest moments" specials on ESPN? At any rate, the few clips they showed of him on the practice field really sort of opened (to me anyway) what kind of coach.teacher he is.....and I agree....he's a damn fine coach.

Hmmm, I'll remember that next time you agree to anything, since you salute the three coaches who chose to not abide by previous agreements. As for myself, I wouldn't salute people for showing a complete lack of integrity.

Geez, go back on your commitments and be saluted... No wonder the integrity of so many in this country has gone in the toilet. Doesn't ANYBODY have ethics anymore?!
