My instructor and dive buddy (same person), is very confident in my diving abilities and attitude towards being the best diver I can be. He said he would be more than willing to have me in an advanced nitrox class. I am comfortable in my abilities also, I have been to 120' twice, and a 100' a few times on wrecks in the straits of mackinaw.
My main question is that would i have to get more "tech" oriented gear than what i already have. I am very comfortable with my gear and have my weighting spot on. What i have now is a knighthawk w/ air 2, kronos supreme, 4 Al 80's (2 nitrox, 2 air for now), a 700 lm cree mc-e light (getting backup soon), Cobra 2 computer, and a drysuit.
Would i absolutely have to get a BP/W and steel tanks since I just bought all the gear in mid- may 2010.
Thanks, Jason.
