Can anyone answer if the Dive maps that are on the Garmin Mk3i include Mexico and Central America and Caribbean and maybe Asia, like Thailand, Indonesia and Phillippines?
Or do they need to be added and bought separate? If so, I cant see Dive View maps for Asia.
Says on Garmin website:
DiveView covers the United States, Europe, and northern Africa (including the Mediterranean and the northern half of the Red Sea).

DIVEVIEW MAPS

Color maps on your wrist offer bathymetric depth contours and more than 4,000 dive sites to help you discover new places to dive and get oriented.

Ehi @Xterra, did you manage to answer your question?

Also, for everyone - I didn't honestly know about those maps; do you know how Garmin does them? Are they accurate?

From what I have seen, the maps cover the entire coast line of the US (excluding the Intracoastal Waterway) and do not include the Caribbean/Mexico/Central America. I've visited a handful of Caribbean islands and only the USVI was covered. I just checked a random spot of coastline in Mexico and it was not covered.

I am guessing they are just taking sections of their existing charts and calling them DiveView.
