Hi. I do use both Mk2 and Peredix. Like Garmin for the GPS which gives you entry/exit postions on the map. Garmin tracks OTU, while Peredix not. Latest update of MK2 firmware addes so called Big Digits which improves display. I use Mk2 with sidemount transmitters which handy displays both tanks on main screen.

On top of it, do not forget Mk2 is a smart watch with all functions like messaging etc, which is handy as after dives Mk2 automatically transfers dive logs to your iphone.

As someone mentioned both watches works nicely as a duo for more advanced dives.
