My pal and I went game shopping this weekend for an alternative to our fave game, Scrabble. Ended up with Jenga, Scattegories, Yahtzee & Uno. What do you guys/gals like as far as games that 2 can play? I want more!

Othello/reversi (i believe they are one and the same) is really addictive. I enjoy the old traditional favourites like chess, draughts/checkers, backgammon, even a simple pack of cards can sort out a few games. I have a huge collection of games that i have picked up over the years, they keep coming out at parties or during the innevitable (sp?) hurricane sit in - no tv! I have, but dont really play chinese checkers, not sure if thats a great 2 player game - its been so long. Connect4 always used to keep kids happy.

I just picked up a dice game at Kmart for christmas that I sent it to the kids. Can't remember the name, but it was fun, it was bowling with dice. We tried it out at work and I liked it. I love playing clue too!

Wonderful! Not so easy to accomplish in a city apartment, but I'm sure we could change the rules some  .

Thanks everyone, I'm taking notes. Keep the ideas coming.

Pshhh..... I live in an apartment too and I play all the time! It just mean you have to be more creative..... here- a clue, if I may:

Air Vents.

Have fun!

Card games are always good: snap gets pretty violent quite fast though!

I also like trival pursuit - it's dead hard but can be quite fun with two players.

It's nice to see folk who like board games etc. A lot of people think they're sad but I love to play them!

P.S If you're adults, curse word scrabble is a blast!
