OK, a last min. planned trip, I'll be down south of Houston (Freeport TX... right on the beach, San Luis Pass) between the 26th and the 2nd of Jan.

I was looking for suggestions in the area (both diving and non-diving) And being the girlfriend doesn't dive (or even swim for that matter) I'm looking for dive buddies.

This place I'm in has an extra bedroom also, so If your a bit far you might me able to crash with us.

well, any other suggestions for my time down there would also be appreciated.

TIA,

Deyv

Deyv,

I lived four miles from San Luis Pass for about 12 years. Your best chance for any kind of diving in that general area this time of year could be pretty slim. Best bet would be to find someone going out of Surfside or Freeport area. Diving would have to be done from a boat. The variables at this time of year are also numerous. (Wind, wind direction, temp, viz, etc., etc.) My suggestion would be to cantact the LDS in Lake Jackson, Texas. They are pretty active divers and may be able to help.

regards,
