Hi All,

I'm going to the Galapagos in early June to dive and am thinking of doing a liveaboard. The Aggressor III is the natural choice in terms of timing.

I've read various reviews of it, which mostly seem positive. Some of the more comprehensive reviews are quite outdated though.

So, have any of you been on the boat in the last year or so?

Would very much appreciate it if anyone who knows the boat could share some brief thoughts!

Thanks so much,

Greg

Thanks, MizzO!

No, not really, had just read some people say the boat is tired, etc.

Basically, I just want a solid, safe boat with nice people and to be in a group with experienced divers that won't cause concerns or limit others due to air consumption, etc.

What was the group setup like?

Good dive guides?

Were your dives limited in any way?

And any issues with the boat (e.g., noisy rooms due to engine, etc)?

Only other thing I need to work out is if my 7-mm wetsuit will suffice... I get cold and am not sure it will. Lowest temperature I've used it in is 19 C, and I think it will get colder than that!

When were you there, @scubadada? And what were the average and max temps, roughly?
I was there in 2018 and wrote a fairly detailed trip report

Have a great trip
