Hello Everybody! Right now i have a pas (POS) sony that i housed when i got into diving. Now i am looking to upgrade with my birthday and christmas coming. DSLR is completely out of the question, so i am looking at the G9 (or maybe G10). My question is how does the strobe connect to the camera with an ikelite housing. Right now i have a sealife strobe, but i would probably pick up an ikelite strobe.

I am thinking it has something to do with the hot shoe and the metal circle in teh upper left corner, but i am not sure. Thanks in advance for the help.

For TTL, the housing has a hot-shoe connector and you plug the strobe synch cable into the housing. For manual controller you mount the controller on the strobe arm and point it at your housing and it plugs into the strobe. That metal circle has to be where the strobe sync cable plugs in. It says it has TTL on their website so that's how it must be!

You could probably get a good deal on a G9 since they came out with the G10.
