Hi all,

I received a DM from @rhwestfall regarding the possible closing of G+S and it's charter operation.

Just to let you all know, there is a deal in the works and that the expectation is that it will be business almost as usual this summer, although with some changes.

The deal is slated to close May 7, and as soon as I know more, I will be sure to update you.

And no, I am not involved other than the parties are friends.

If you have concerns about the status of any charter reservations you might have, feel free to DM me and I'll share a little more with you, but it would be inappropriate to comment publicly.

So just by way of an update, the deal closed today. Divers Den has taken over G+S officially and will be running from both locations, and all the same boats are operating... So one operator, but same capacity.

Perry is essentially retiring and will likely run a clearance outlet on Highway 6 as well as some non-diving stuff.

It's too bad that G+S is going but at the same time it's nice to see another highly reputable dive OP moving in and the capacity for divers stays on par.

Over the past 30+ some odd years I dove out of both G&S and DD. Always been pleased with the service from both.
