Chasing a job lead in Midlothian--should be solid by the end of this week. Looks like I'm gonna be doing more mud diving....

I talked to a friend today who lives in Houston... He just did his advanced o/w with PADI last weekend. He was extremely disappointed with the vis & the weather. Also said the dives were a joke.
I dont know what lake it was, but I assumed Houston dive shops would do most of their checkouts in Galveston. Guess it's a convenience thing....

Sure you will be warmly welcomed by the northern contingent of the Neptune Texas Branch!

I have not heard of much diving by Galveston or Freeport.
