functionally they're dumb too. you have two suits to put on and from what i understand the pockets sag when you load them up with stuff.

my answer is the same. get a shell suit that fits you.

Reading your response I understand why you will don the suit as 2 pieces, you don't know any better. The dumb is not with the suit IMO. The pockets now have retainers to stop sagging once you add a kitchen sink and V8 block in each.

Interesting thou, some people dont need a Fusion suit to look like a clown, they just are by nature.

Hmmm, when did looks become part of diving? Heck I know plenty of divers who regularly dive old weird colored wetsuits...etc. My ultimate goal is fit/function over looks (I honestly could care less) and it appears the FUSION suit has been addressing every customer issue with them thus far (thin ankles, pockets sagging...etc.) If the suit fits me and causes things to be streamlined while allowing me to not worry about drastic changes in weight and having a floppy fitting drysuit, then why not?

since always.

a regular shell suit that fits you also works without having any of these issues needing to be addressed in the first place. just my 2 cents.

Disagree about looks but I do agree with your second statement. a proper fitting shellsuit will be great. My problem is I ALWAYS swing 10-20lbs throughout any given year. Yes, bad diet and exercise patterns but it has been like this for 15 years. I do not want to buy a suit for skinny me and a suit for fat me. It seems like the FUSION is a good answer for that is all I was saying.

...and the fusion looks great!
that is the first time anyone in history has uttered that sentence :)

just buy one for fat you. honestly a swing of 10-20 pounds isn't going to push you out of your drysuit. i think you might be overthinking it as the suit isn't going to be skin tight on you. there's wiggle room in it. even if you get a 'cave cut' suit
