Fusion Drysuit and Necktite/Quick Neck

Hi all,

I currently have a Whites Fusion dry suit. Just switched from Bullet to Tech skin for more flexibility and lighter weight. I have the SLT neck and wrists installed. I am NOT a big fan of the neck ring. I feel like it is inhibiting the flexibility of the suit a bit.

Has anyone had their necktite/quick neck system removed and went back to a regular latex seal? Is it possible?

Yes, do a search here, lots of discussion on that, both pro and con.

I had the original Neck Tite installed in a new Fusion Sport and then promptly replaced with a standard latex neck seal. DRIS did the replacement and I'm not aware of any problems. Reportedly the Quick Neck ring is much more flexible and might be acceptable while the Neck Tite was far too rigid for me, like wearing a frisbee around the neck.
