Fun Time Scuba Finds New Way to Increase Revenues

Affiliation with NASE proves productive and profitable for Indiana retailer
Released on: 4/19/2011

Jim Frederick, owner of Fun Time Scuba increases training revenues by expanding courses to meet needs of local college. “This is a great opportunity for us!” says Jim, “NASE’s training curriculum and the local Regional Training Director Al Barreto really helped us get our foot in the door with Lincoln Trail College”.

Since joining the National Academy of SCUBA Educators (NASE Worldwide) as an affiliated dive center, Fun Time SCUBA is focusing on offering an array of courses and building its relationship with local colleges and universities.

Fun Time Scuba is a full service dive retailer servicing the south western area of Indiana and parts of Illinois. They are interested in the NASE system as it reflects what they believe in, “A common sense approach to training divers”. In addition, the flexibility of the courses allowed Jim and his staff to develop a comprehensive offering ideally suited for Lincoln Trail’s needs.

“This will allow us to increase our offerings in our aquatic facility” said Kathy Harris, Dean of Lincoln College. NASE’s multifaceted structure and affiliation along with it’s background in commercial diving, provide credibility in the post-secondary educational area. Dean Kathy Harris stated, “We receive inquiries about various areas of diving from many of our students, which should be a perfect fit to working with Fun Time SCUBA, NASE and the CDA” stated Harris.

By developing partnerships and thinking outside the box retailers are able to profit in these challenging times. For more information about Fun Time Scuba and the Lincoln College Diver program, please contact Jim and his staff at 551 E National Ave Brazil, IN (812) 443-3483.
