Wow, I had a blast at the Alki Pipeline Friday morning. I hadn't ever been to this site before. It was low tide, and there was some surf...not great conditions for this particular dive. (Well, for a novice like me, anyway.) But it turned out to be a great dive, once we got past the murky surf-zone. Here are some pictures. They're not great, as this is only my third dive borrowing my buddy's camera (Thanks!). And I'm not good with photoshop cropping, so they're kinda big...(Edit: Thanks to Uncle Pug for suggesting the right size to fit on the screen.)

My favorite is the second anemone picture.

Any thoughts on what the little critters are? There were tons of them, but really only at the end of the pipe. We didn't see them anywhere else. They were only 1/2 inch long, or so. White. (Sorry...not a very good picture.)

Didn't see the nudis that put them there, though.

I can't wait to get back to this site during high tide and a calmer surf.

Sounds and looks like a great dive.
Thanks for sharing the pics...
